Who we are
Produtech Plus, 5090 Rue François Cusson, Lachine, QC H8T 1B3, sells office supplies, copy paper, POS supplies, toner and ink. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, as required by Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
Person in charge of personal information
The President of Produtech Plus is responsible for the protection of personal information. Questions, requests and complaints: sales@produtechplus.com, (514) 630-7447, or by mail at the address above.
What we collect and why
- Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message. We use them only to answer your request or prepare a quote. The form sends them to us by email; we do not store them in a database and do not use them for marketing.
- Phone and email: what you tell us when you contact us, used only to serve you.
- Server logs: our web host automatically records technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.
Cookies and third parties
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you. The map in our contact section is provided by Google Maps and loads only if you click Accept in the cookie banner; Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. Your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months (key pp_consent, which contains no personal information). If you choose a language with the EN/FR switch, a pp_lang cookie remembers it for 12 months; without it, we show the French site when your browser prefers French. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Sharing and storage
We do not sell or rent personal information. It is shared only with the service providers who host our website and email, under agreements that protect it. Some of these providers may store data outside Quebec; we choose providers that offer protection adequate under Law 25.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and contact details only as long as needed to answer you and manage our business relationship, then delete them.
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw your consent, or have it deleted, by contacting the person in charge above. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Security and incidents
We use reasonable safeguards (encrypted HTTPS connection, restricted access). If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
